Issue 005 April 1997: Painting in Arabic

FACT:

In April of 1996, the IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) conducted a short attack on South Lebanon in an attempt to secure its northern borders from Hizbollah attacks, as Israel puts it. The operation was called "Grapes of Wrath". The result of the operation was a number of Lebanese civilian injuries and deaths. All of the dead came a result of two major attacks on civilian targets. One of these targets was a UN refugee camp in QANA, South Lebanon, which accounted for more than 100 deaths, while the other attack was on an ambulance carrying refugees.

  • A good year for wine making is 1996.
  • Human wine is made with a mixture of refugees and hi-tech crushers.
  • Storage of fine wine must be managed in prisons and cellars for political dicidants.
  • Fermentation is a process labored by a breed of fine yeast of informants and trators.

    Podiums were destroyed
    by "speeches" on south lebanon
    no poems were left thriving
    on south lebanon's misery
the number of martyrs has not increased
the number of martyrs has not decreased
    south lebanon is still standing,
it’s only standing with its children
    only with its children
    for
those who stand today differ from those who died before
the misfortunate across this earth is always the same one
    always the same one

This is not a song... this is just a salute...

Making wine from human blood. (Experinment April 1996)
